Oil Free Granola

Are you on the hunt for a tasty breakfast treat that’s also easy to make? We might have just the recipe you are looking for! This easy 4-step recipe is guaranteed to start your day right.

This Oil Free Granola is nutty, chewy, and healthy. Not to mention most of the ingredients are already present in your pantry, so it’s really a breeze to make!

Here are the ingredients we need:

3 cups (240g) rolled oats

¼ cup (30g) walnuts, chopped

¼ cup (30g) almonds, chopped

¼ cup (35g) pumpkin seeds

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

½ tsp. vanilla extract

pinch salt

4 tbsp. maple syrup

½ cup (120g) apple sauce

⅓ cup (50g) raisins, not packed

⅓ cup (40g) goji berries

What’s great about this no fuss meal is that you don’t have to spend all morning in the kitchen. While you are preheating your oven to 320°F (160°C), you can do the other steps at the same time. Just before you start mixing everything, line your baking sheet with baking paper.

Then you can put in the oats, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Add the maple syrup and the apple sauce and mix it well. You can now spread your mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the tray from the oven and gently stir the granola, then bake for another 20 minutes until it’s golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside on a wire rack to cool.

When it’s cooled completely, mix in the dried raisins and goji berries.

This dish will make 12 servings. And to make things even better, you can store it in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Now you have a snack on the go!
