HYPNOTHERAPY


Hypnotherapy is shrouded in so much mystery and misunderstanding. However, it is one of the most powerful and quickest ways to overcome the negative thinking, limiting beliefs and damaging behaviours that are causing pain, suffering, anxiety and stress in your life.

Put simply, Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and body that uses the power of your thoughts, imagination and emotions to create deep, long lasting changes in your life. It can be used for both physical and emotional problems.

Hypnosis is not mind control or forcing you to do things you don’t want to do. You remain fully aware, awake and in control at all times. In fact it is impossible to make you do anything you do not want to.


It’s a naturally occurring state which you experience every day, just before you fall asleep, and right after you wake up. Our process simply helps you to enter and explore this naturally occurring state of mind so that you can create the changes you desire.

MIRROR WORK


Mirror work is a powerful way to work deeply with yourself and create profound changes. Mirror work was made famous by Louise Hay in the late 80’s early 90s and has changed the life of many. Repeating affirming statements to yourself in the mirror enables you to connect directly to all areas of your mind (conscious, subconscious & super conscious). This process also connects with your truth, that inner wise voice within you. A voice that you may have been ignoring for so long. Reconnecting with this part of you enables you to live from the heart and take actions that support your hearts desire rather than making decisions from fear. These classes enable you to release stuck old emotions, dissolve old beliefs and reprogram your mind with the new ways you want to me.

Mirror work classes are often short, most take 3 - 12 minutes to do. This makes them very convenient and they can easily be added to your daily practice.

MEDITATION


Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. Meditation practices are techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being. With regular work and patience these nourishing, focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly peaceful and energised states of mind. Such experiences can have a transformative effect and can lead to a new understanding of life.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY


CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.

CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel. 

CBT also deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past. It looks for practical ways to improve your state of mind on a daily basis by using powerful worksheets and practical behaviour change exercises.


During the sessions, you'll work with your therapist to break down your problems into their separate parts, such as your thoughts, physical feelings and actions.  You will analyse these areas to work out if they're unrealistic or unhelpful, and to determine the effect they have on each other and on you. You will then be able to help you work out how to change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
