2: Do you know exactly how much carbohydrates, fats and protein you should be eating every day to lose weight, feel full and energised?

Nutritional Awareness:

1: Understand the Correct Fuel Amount You Need to Nourish Your Body:

To accurately gauge the amount of calories your body requires daily for optimal health and energy levels, we recommend using a reliable calorie calculator. A great resource is the free calculator available at Forbes Health. This tool takes into account your age, gender, weight, height, and level of physical activity to provide you with a tailored calorie intake suggestion. Click the link below and use the calculator to work out what your allowance needs to be. Use this information as a starting point to understand how much fuel your body needs, adjusting as necessary based on your body's responses and any changes in your activity level or goals.


Once you have this information you can download My Fitness Pal and start using it for free to track your daily food intake.


Counting calories isn't about restricting yourself. It is about making sure that you measure the fuel you feed your body so that you get the weight loss results you need.

Taking this action is part of "The Fix" - As you move through the next 2 days we will reveal more to you about how we will support you in eating an abundance of food whilst using My Fitness Pal to track your daily diet.

2: Identify Foods and Drinks to Include in Your Diet for Abundance and Joy:

Operation Goddess is about living in abundance. We do not believe in going without but we do believe in balance and health.

Your task is to reflect on which foods and drinks make you feel happy, satisfied, and nourished without sacrificing your health. Write down all the foods that you wish to include in your diet that you may have forgotten about recently due to binging or snacking.  Consider a variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats that not only meet your nutritional needs but also bring pleasure to your eating experiences.

Think about how these choices can fit into your daily meals and snacks, creating a balanced and joyful approach to eating.

3: Be Honest About How You Can Best Provide This for Yourself:

Today, we have looked at the issues in our eating and how we can get self-control and better choices into our daily lives by tracking our food. 

We now want to look at how we can set ourselves up for success when it comes to not only hitting our calories but also eating an abundance of food.

Take a moment to write down how you plan to stick to your daily calories intake. 

This step calls for a realistic assessment of your current lifestyle, budget, time, and cooking skills. Consider what barriers might prevent you from eating as well as you'd like and identify practical solutions. This might mean planning meals in advance, preparing food in bulk, or finding healthy options that require minimal preparation.

Please assess how you can make these changes sustainable and enjoyable, making sure that your approach to nutrition is both fulfilling and aligned with your personal goals and circumstances.

By thoughtfully engaging with these action steps, you're laying the foundation for a nourishing relationship with food that supports your body's needs while also celebrating the joy of eating.

Your journaling on this process is an important step as you are starting to think about how you can take action and solve the issues you are currently having with bad eating habits.

On day three we will be looking at how we can support you in achieving these positive food habit goals that will enable you to lose that weight and get off the yo-yo dieting once and for all.
